The LynX ServerFone, is a recoded Model N100 OnePlus 4G cell phone with dual operating systems - a 64-bit Linux OS and Android 11. LynX uses UBPorts Ubuntu Touch 64 Linux that is installed directly onto the device hardware. We take the time to ship the device with Android support pre-installed. For customers that are keen to try Ubuntu Touch, this device is easier to use out of the box than a typical DIY Linux device.
In comparison to typical iOS or Android devices, this model's pure Linux installation is effectively invulnerable from 3rd party snoop and malware insertions based on iOS or Android. This makes its voice, video, text, and data paths separate from potential 3rd party (i.e. Google, Apple) eavesdropping.
Note - This product is only compatible with T-Mobile for US Customers. It does work with most carriers in other countries.

The optional paid support plan for this device includes support for the standard UBPorts apps that serious privacy seeking users need. Apps we will support include the 2FA Manager, Dekko Mail, KeePass, Microsoft Teams and the Waydroid Container for Android 11.0.
