LynX Phone and Voice Over IP

The latest edition of Lynx Phone has built in VOIP. This is done through XFoneOS and is part of the phone operating system. Its faster and better integrated than any VOIP app.

The standard dialer includes adding a VOIP account in the account options.

Benefits:

  1. Seamless VOIP Integration:
Unlike Android phones that lack native SIP support after version 8, LynX Phone users benefit from a built-in VOIP client that is deeply integrated into the operating system. This allows VOIP calls to be made alongside traditional cellular calls, providing a smoother and more unified experience for users.
  2. Superior Performance:
Because your VOIP functionality operates at the OS level, it outperforms third-party VOIP apps that run on top of Android or iOS. These apps often introduce delays, higher latency, or require more power, whereas your implementation can offer lower latency, faster call setup, and better battery efficiency.
  3. Carrier-Agnostic Communication:
With VOIP support baked into the OS, LynX Phone users can bypass traditional cellular networks entirely, making calls over Wi-Fi or data networks seamlessly. This makes your phone more attractive to users who rely on VOIP for international or cost-effective communication, giving them the freedom to use whatever connectivity option is best suited.
  4. Enhanced Privacy & Security:
By managing VOIP directly within XFoneOS, you have control over the security and encryption protocols used, unlike third-party VOIP apps which may have unknown privacy practices. This resonates with privacy-conscious users, offering a higher level of security over their communications.
  5. Unified User Experience:
Our native SIP implementation enables users to manage both VOIP and cellular calls through the same dialer interface, creating a consistent user experience. This contrasts with other phones where users must switch between different apps to manage calls, adding complexity and friction.

LynX Phone is simply the best phone available today for making VOIP calls.
