LynX Phone LNXN100 Quick Start Guide

The LynX Phone LNXN100 is a pure Linux phone designed for Linux enthusiasts, programmers and tech savvy customers with a need for privacy. The core operating system is based on Ubuntu Touch with enhancements we have added including a high performance WiFi driver.

LynX Phone LNXN100 is the new global brand name for the original XFone, developed from 2020 to 2023. All original XFone users are compatible with the LNXN100 series.

The chassis for the LNXN100 is a One Plus N100 model, recoded to run Ubuntu Touch Linux.

When you first get your LNXN100, you can use the following steps to get started with your LynX Phone.

Power On/Off is on the right hand side. Short press turns the display ON/OFF. A long press gives you the Power Off/Restart/Screenshot and Cancel features.

Volume UP/DOWN is on the left side. This is a single button that pivots.

Press and hold POWER + VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN to do a hard reboot of the LNXN100.

The LNXN100 comes pre-loaded with Waydroid with Google Services Framework enabled. This lets you access Google Play applications from an Android desktop with ease. Close the Waydroid desktop when done to eliminate any Google applications from accessing your LNXN100 (maximizes your privacy).

The standard apps included on the LNXN100 are Waydroid, Web Browser with DuckDuckGo (secure private search), Photo Gallery, OpenStore, Contacts, Text Messaging, Phone Dialer and Teleports (Telegram messenger client).
